Ingredients

  • Slow Cooker Stroganoff
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1-2 lb chuck roast
  • rice or egg noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour and pepper. Coast roast with flour mixture. In large skillet, heat oil then brown meat. Remove and place in slow cooker along with onion, onion mix, and cream of mushroom soup. Cook on high for 2 hours, then on low for 3 hours or until meat is tender. Shred meat and serve over rice or egg noodles.

*NOTE: you can totally skip the whole flour and browning process. Just throw the meat in with the other three ingredients. Also, you can just cook it on low all day if that's easier.
