Ingredients
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup water

Preparation
Step 1
Thoroughly mix 1/2 cup soup, onion, egg, beef and bread crumbs in a latge bowl. Place the mixture into a 13x9x2-inch baking dish and firmly shape into an 8x4-inch loaf.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes or until meatloaf is cooked through.
Heat 2 T. pan drippings, remaining soup and water in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is hot and bubbling. Serve the sauce with the meatloaf.
FROSTED MEATLOAF: Prepare as above but bake for only 1 hour. Spoon off fat. Spread 3 cups hot, seasoned mashed potatoes pver meatloaf; sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese. Bake 15 to 30 minutes more until meat is done.
