Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds peaches
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 stick butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • ● Preheat oven to 350.
  • ● Place the peaches in a baking dish.
  • ● In a bowl, combine the sugar and flour and sprinkle the mixture over the peaches.
  • ● In another bowl, mix the vanilla and water and drizzle over all, dotting the top with the butter pieces.
  • ● Place the crust on top of the peaches. It does not have to come to the edges of the baking dish...in fact, it's better if it doesn't.
  • ● Bake 45 to 55 minutes.
