Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 ml) rolled oats
- 1 cup (250 ml) graham wafer crumbs
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) baking soda
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) salted peanuts
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) corn syrup
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla
- 1 6-ounce package (170 g) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) peanut butter

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (130 degrees C). Grease a 15x10-inch (38x25 cm) edged cookie sheet. In a large bowl, combine oats, crumbs, sugar, baking soda and peanuts. Mix well.
Combine corn syrup with melted butter and vanilla. Stir into oat mixture and mix well. Press into pan and bake for 15 minutes. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together in a double boiler. Spread over warm, baked bars. Cool 10 minutes in pan and cut into 2x1-inch (5x25 cm) bars. Refrigerate to set chocolate. Makes 5 dozen bars.
