- 3 lb Brisket
- Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Wine
- Ginger-ale
- Oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can chopped mushrooms
- Celery, chopped
- Carrots, chopped
- Ketchup
- Water

Preparation
Step 1
prepare brisket by rubbing with garlic. Salt and pepper brisket and set aside a while
brown brisket in oven @ 225°
while browning, fill a water glass ½ full with wine and ½ full with ginger-ale. Pour over the browned meat
in a frying pan, fry onion, celery, mushrooms, and carrots with oil; add a water glass ½ full with ketchup and ½ full with water to the frying pan. Cover for 15 minutes
add veggies to roast and raise temperature to 325° until done
