Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Velveeta Cheese
  • 1 lb. Jimmy Dean hot sausage
  • 1/2 lg. onion
  • 14 oz. Rotel tomatoes
  • 7oz. can dice green chilies
  • 1-3 jalapenos, diced

Preparation

Step 1

Chop the onion and brown with breakfast sausage. Drain excess fat. Cut Velveeta into cubes and add to warm skillet. Add tomatoes and chilies, and stir together over low heat until mixture is melted. Add jalapenos, stir together, and serve warm with tortilla chips. (keep warm while being served, i.e. Crockpot, fondue pot)
Queso can be frozen flat in Ziploc bags and reheated.
