Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 large onions, sliced thin
  • 1 cup chicken stock or bouillon cube dissolved in water
  • 1 cup canned sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup canned bean sprouts, drained
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat pan to 350F. Add oil and when it's hot, add onions and a few tablespoons chicken stock. Cover and steam until soft but do not scorch. Add chicken stock, mushrooms and bean sprouts and bring to a boil.

2. Reduce heat to simmer. Add chicken. Mix cornstarch with water. Stir into pan. Cover and let simmer for a few mins. Add soy sauce, mix well and serve over friend noodles.
