Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 3 Tablespoons Organic Tamari Sauce Reduced Sodium (wheat free soy sauce)
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter (fresh ground)
  • 1 Tablespoon Organic Rice Vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 1 Tablespoon raw sesame seeds
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon chili paste ( Sabal Olec)
  • Tofu:
  • 1 package Organic Small Planet FIRM Tofu, rinsed & cubed
  • 2 Tablespoons Organic Tamari Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, freshly grated

Preparation

Step 1

Sauce:

Put all ingredients into a sauce pan and heat on med-low. Whisk to smooth to creamy and do not boil.

Tofu:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Place on oiled stainless steel cookie sheet and broil in the oven just until browned. Then, using a metal spatula, turn and brown another side. Tofu is finished when it is browned on a few sides.

Combine together your cooked noodles or brown rice, peanut sauce and top with baked tofu. Serve immediately you can also add a vegetable of your choice and it is yummy with a stir fry of veggies too.

Feed 2-3 people. Double or triple recipe if serving a crowd.
