  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 15 slices Challah
  • ¾ lb margarine
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 onion
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 3 Tbsp dry minced onions
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • 1/8 tsp celery salt
  • ½ tsp Laury’s season salt
  • ½ tsp accent
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 small can chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

take 1/3 bread, spread with oil, toast in toaster; take another 1/3 and dry it out at room temperature; last 1/3 leave in bag
dice and sauté onions in ¼ lb margarine; add celery with leaves and parsley
brown mushrooms in another stick in a different pan
dice up bread and mix with mushrooms and water chestnuts
melt last stick of margarine and sauté sesame seeds and dry minced onion (until it foams) DO NOT burn
add everything so far to bread; add all seasonings
heat chicken broth and add 1 Tbsp sugar
bake @ 350° until done
