Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 and 1/3 cups of milk
  • 2 cups sifted flour (add salt & baking powder to flour)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

1. Beat eggs and add milk. By hand, add flour with salt and baking powder. Do not stir for very long for fluffy dumplings.

2. Drop by spoonful into either boiling water, stock or soup. Boil hard for 5 minutes.

3. Put lid on pot and turn down to low. Cook an additional 5 minutes.
