Ingredients

  • 1 can bean sprouts, drained
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cups chopped celery
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1-2 chicken breasts, diced

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in large skillet. Add chicken and sear over high heat.

Reduce heat to medium-high and add celery and onion. Cook for 15 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients (except cornstarch) and bring to a boil.

Prepare cornstarch by dissolving it in 2 Tablespoons cold water. Slowly add to the pan and cook till sauce thickens.

Serve over cooked rice or crispy Chow Mein noodles.
