Ingredients
- 1 C. butter, melted
- 1 C. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 15 oz. can cream-style corn
- 2 oz. green chiles can
- 1 C. Colby-jack cheese
- 1 C. flour
- 1 C. cornmeal
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 pan or a 12-inch skillet. In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Blend in corn, chiles and cheese. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to corn mixture; stir until smooth. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 1 hour or less than an hour if in a skillet. Serve with butter, honey or jalapeno jelly.
