Ingredients

  • 1 lb. new potatoes or small round ones
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. chicken broth granules (powder or liquid)
  • 1/4 cupp sour cream
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain.

In a sauce pan, melt buter and stir in flour. Cook over med. heat for 2 minutes, remove from heat and stir in milk. Treturn to heat, stir occasionally until thick. Stir in chicken broth granules, sour cream and parsley. Heat only long enough to warm the sour cream; do not boil.

Place potatoes in serving lowl and pour sauce over them. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if you have.
