Ingredients
- 1 1/4 C. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 C. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 C. granulated sugar
- 3/4 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 package (4-serving size) vanilla flavor instant pudding/pie filling
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 C. quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 C. raisins (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.
Mix flour with baking soda.
Combine butter, the sugars and pudding mix in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in oats and raisins. (Batter will be stiff.)
Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375 degree for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
