Ingredients
- 1 C. chopped onion
- 1 C. chopped celery
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 C. milk
- 3 Tbsp. corn starch
- 2 C. chick broth
- 4 C. chopped cooked chicken
- 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. parsley
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté onion, celery, butter and oil till soft.
Dissolve cornstarch in milk.
Add broth to sautéed vegetables.
Add milk and cornstarch mixture.
Add chicken and seasonings and simmer for 20 minutes.
Pour into baking dish, cover with in pie crust.
Bake at 400 for 25-30 minutes.
