OLD FASHIOONED PEACH COBBLER

This is the popular peach cobbler Peggy Cox made for Tea Room when she was a manager.
Great crowd pleaser,

Ingredients

• FRUIT MIXTURE:
• 6 Tbs Tapioca
• 6-7 cups fresh peaches
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg

• COBBLER DOUGH:
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cup milk
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt

• COBBLER TOPPING:
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 Tbs cornstarch
• cinnamon nutmeg
• 1/2 cup boiling water

BUTTERED 9X13 dish
