Ingredients

  • Crumb Topping:
  • 6 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • Cream:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup XXX sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon bourbon

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the sliced apples with flour, sugar, maple syrup, pecans and lemon juice. Place in a greased 9 x 13 pan.

Crumb topping: Beat together the butter and sugar. Add flour, cinnamon and nuts. Spread on top of apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Cream: Whip the heavy cream, and fold in the sugar and bourbon. Serve a dollop on top.
