  • 1 cup whiskey, rum or brandy
  • cream custard filling (Birds)

Step 1



Make custard according to package directions.

Bake 2 layer cake according to box directions.

Place one layer of cake on plate

Pour slowly over it evenly one half the liquor, letting it absorb all it can before adding more.

Spread cake layer with custard cream filling and top with second layer. Use about half of filling.

Pour remaining liquor over this, and when absorbed, spread the cake with remaining cream custard filling.

Chill well before serving.
