  • 2 cups of uncooked macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 cups of home made tomato sauce
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook macaroni as directed and set-aside.
2. Meanwhile, make the bechamelle with the butter, flour and milk.
3. Thoroughly mix bechamelle with cooked macaroni.
4. Put in a large enough casserole and cover with tomato sauce.
5. Sprinkle grated cheese and almonds.
6. Bake in the oven at 375 for about 45 minutes.

If you like the crust a little more crunchier, just add a few drops of butter before baking.
