Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rum or bourbon
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 medium garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 4 beef strip loin or rib eye steaks, cut 1 inch thick

Mix rum with olive oil, chili powder, garlic, oregano and hot pepper sauce to make the marinade. Add steaks to marinade and marinate for 30 minutes.
Grill steaks 4 to 6 inches from medium coals for 9 to 12 minutes, turning once.
