  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika, if desired

Step 1

1. Place mustard in blender or food processor. Very slowly, add oil, a drop at a time, processing continually. As the mixture thickens, add the oil more quickly. Keep adding oil until the mixture is light in colour, smooth and thick. You may not need all of the oil.

2. Add pepper and paprika and blend until smooth. Store covered in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
