  • 5 cups chopped apples
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Butter a shallow baking dish. Put apples in dish, sprinkle with salt.

Mix flour, cinnamon, and sugar together and rub in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apples. Sprinkle the almonds over the top.

Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
