  • 1 - 2 pkgs. phyllo pastry
  • 2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
  • ½ lb. feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup melted butter or margarine

Step 1

Combine cream cheese, feta cheese, egg and 3 tbsp. butter in a bowl and beat at medium speed until well blended and smooth.

Place two leaves of phyllo pastry on board; brush with melted butter. Cut lengthwise into 5 strips. Place 1 teaspoon of filling at end of a strip. Fold over one corner to opposite side, making a triangle. Continue folding, keeping triangle shape, to other end of strip, making sure filling is completely enclosed. Repeat with remaining strips. Arrange on cookie sheets. Repeat with other pastry leaves.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
