Ingredients
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on
- 1 cup King Arthur flour, as needed
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped, for garnish

Step 1
Make an egg wash by mixing the egg with the evaporated milk.
Dredge shrimp in the flour. Dip the flour coated shrimp in the egg wash, let the excess drip off and then once again into the flour. Set aside.
Heat the butter in a saute pan over medium heat. add the garlic and the shrimp and saute the shrimp on both sides until golden brown.
when the shrimp are cooked, squeeze the lemon juice over the top and add salt and pepper to taste.
Remove the shrimp from the saute pan and place on a platter. Pour a little of the melted garlic butter (from the saute pan) over the shrimp.
Garnish with the parsley and serve with your favorite rice and preferred side vegetables.
