Ingredients

  • 1 sm. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 sm. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 lb. lump crab meat
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 tbl. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbl. mustard
  • 12 crackers crushed or equiv.in bread crumbs
  • garlic powder, celery salt to taste
  • cajun spice or Old Bay spice to taste
  • paprika to sprinkle on top of cakes

Preparation

Step 1

Saute green pepper and onion in butter or margarine. Cool to room temperature.

Combine with other ingredients except paprika. Mix well. Shape into cakes. Sprinkle with paprika. Put on shallow baking pan.

Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes.
