Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup dry peach Jello
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup cold water or peach juice
  • Approx 8 to 10 medium peaches, peeled and sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Crust:
Mix flour and powdered sugar. Mix in melted margarine. Press into 9" pie tin, up side, not onto rim.

Bake 10-15 minutes (toasty brown) at 350 degrees.

Filling:
Mix sugar, dry peach Jello, and cornstarch (ifpeaches are very juicy, add more Jello or cornstarch). Mix in water or peach juice . Boil for approximately 3 minutes. Cook until mixture "Clears." Cool.

Toss mixture with enough peach slices to heap up in pie shell.

Chill until set.
