Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup (125 ml) tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp (25 ml) store-bought or homemade pesto
- 1 regular or whole wheat 12-inch pizza-dough round
- 1 1/2 cup (375 ml) grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 (75 ml) cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 (125 ml) cup thinly sliced pepperoni
- 4-6 medium mushrooms, thinly sliced

Step 1
Place oven rack in lower third of you oven. Preheat to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius). Place tomato sauce and pesto in a small bowl and mix to combine; spread this on the pizza dough and sprinkle with cheese. Arrange remaining ingredients on top. Bake for 12/15 minutes, or until the pizza is puffed and the crust is golden on the bottom.
