2 cups cake flour sifted
1-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together 3 times flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar and beat well. Add egg and extracts and mix. Add sifted ingredients alternately with milk and beat until smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet and flatten with spoon. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
