Lemonade Base

Lemonade... that cool, refreshing drink!

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups water
• 1 1/4 cups sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon shredded peel
• 1 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Heat and stir water and sugar until sugar dissolves.

Remove from heat.

Add peel and juice. Mix.

Refrigerate up to 3 days.

Combine equal parts base and water in an ice-filled glass.
