Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup peanut oil
6 eggs
½ tsp salt
1 cup cake meal
2/3 cup cocoa
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

grease an 8 x 12-inch pan
mix all ingredients together in one bowl, except the nuts; pour into pan and level
sprinkle top with nuts if desired
bake 55 minutes @ 325°
