Ingredients
- 3 lbs. ground venison (or very lean beef)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large can petite diced tomatoes
- 2 8-oz cans tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons chili (adjust for taste)
- 1 tablespoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- beef broth or water, as needed

Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat in small amount of oil (or spray pan with Pam). Add onions and cook several minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Simmer over low heat, uncovered, for 1 1/2 hour, adding liquid as needed.
