Chewy Bars

Ingredients

• 1 box yellow cake mix (substitute any flavor cake mix)
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons margarine
• 2 tablespoons white corn syrup
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
• 2 eggs
• 4 tablespoons flour
• 1/4 about 1/4 cup water or enough to moisten mixture

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Grease sheet cake pan

In a small bowl, blend all ingredients well. Spread in prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
