Ingredients

  • 40 Nilla Wafers, crushed
  • 3 tbsp. butter/margarine, melted
  • 4 packages of cream cheese softened, divided
  • 1 cup of sugar, divided
  • 1 tbsp. + 1 tsp vanilla, divided
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tub cool whip, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix wafer crumbs and butter and press into bottom of 9 inch spring form pan
2. Beat 3 packages of cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 tbsp. vanilla with mixer until blended.
3. Add eggs one at a time beating on low speed until blended. Pour over crust
4. Bake 50-55 minutes at 350 degrees or until centre is almost set. Run knife around edges and cool completely.
5. Beat remaining cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended. Whisk in cool whip and spoon over cheese cake. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
