  • 3 (3 oz) pkg. Jello, 1 each: red, green, yellow, 3 c. boiling water (1 for each color), 2 c. milk, 1 c. sugar, 2 env. unflavored gelatin (Knox), 1/2 c. cool water, 16 oz. sour cream, 1 tsp. vanilla

Step 1

Mix each color with 1 cup water each and set aside. Heat milk to a boil and add sugar, stir to dissolve. Lower heat to simmer, being careful not to burn the milk. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup cold water with the 2 packages Knox gelatin. Set aside. Remove milk mix from heat. and add sour cream and vanilla. Add Knox mixture to milk mixture and beat for 5 minutes. In 9x12-inch pan, alternate while mixture with colored Jello, starting with white as the bottom layer. Let each layer set before adding the next. Keep refrigerated.
