    c. almonds or pecan, finely chopped

    c. milk choc. or semi-sweet chips

  • 1/2

    c. almonds or pecan, finely chopped

Directions

Butter sides of heavy 2 qt. saucepan. Melt butter, add sugar, water, and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until reaches 290 deg. or soft crack stage. Stirring frequently. Mixture should boil over entire surface. Watch carefully after 280 deg. Remove from heat. Quickly add 1/2 c. of nuts. Immediately pour into 9 x 13 x 2 greased pan. Pour chips over to melt, spread, sprinkle with nuts. Chill until firm. Break into pieces.
