Rolls of chicken breast with Gruyère AOP 1 Picture

  • 4 filets of chicken breast
  • 100g Gruyère AOP
  • 150ml white wine
  • 8 sage leaves (facultative)
  • 2 tablespoon strong mustard
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Step 1

Halve each filet to obtain 8 filets in total. Flatten each filet.
Cut le Gruyère AOP into thin slices and then into slivers. Put le Gruyère AOP on one end of each filet and a leaf of sage on top of the cheese. Tighten well and close with a wooden pick.
Fry the chicken rolls in a frying pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Put them aside and deglaze pan with white wine and mustard. Stir thoroughly and carefully add the chicken rolls. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

Serve immediately with rice or steamed potatoes
