KNEAD TO FORM A SMOOTH DOUGH. dIVIDE INTO FOUR PARTS AND ROLL EACH PART INTO A ROLL ABOUT 1 INCH IN DIAMETER. CUT INTO 1 INCH LENGTHS. ROLL PIECES IN PALMS OF HANDS TO FORM SMOOTH BALLS. LAY ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEETS, 1 INCH APART. PRESS WITH TINES OF FOLK TO MAKE CRISS-CROSSES. BAKE IN PREHEATED 375 DEGREES OVEN FOR 10-12 MINUTES. MAKES ABOUT 7 DOZEN.
