Butter Rum Ice Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c light corn syrup
- 1/2 stick butter
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 c heavy cream
- 1 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 1/4 t lemon juice
- 1 1/2 T dark rum
- bananas
- pecans (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium low heat until sugar disolves. Boil 12 minutes, but do not burn. Remove from heat and slowly combine next 4 ingredients in a measuring cup and add to the other mixture. Serve over ice cream and cut up bananas. Garnish with pecans.
