Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 3/4 t. baking soda
  • 1/8 t. salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 beaten egg yolk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup miniature chocolate chips

Step 1

Mix together first 6 ingredients. Cut in butter. Add egg yolk and sour cream and mix. Add chocolate chips and stir until soft. Spoon dough (about 2 T. worth for each scone) onto a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
