  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs with fork until yellow and whites are blended.
Add sugar, salt, vanilla, and nutmeg. Mix thoroughly.
Add milk gradually.
Pour into buttered custard cups. Set in pan of warm water.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
