Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar (approx.)
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp to 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 3/4 liter whole milk

Preparation
Step 1
melt about a cup of sugar in a frying pan, shaking the pan to keep the sugar from burning. It will melt and turn a caramel brown color.
Beat eggs and add vanilla, 2T sugar per egg, and milk. Mix with wire whisk.
Spread melted sugar quickly in the bottom of a pyrex pan. Pour milk mixture over top. Place pan in a larger pan with water in it. The water should come about halfway to the top of the inner pan.
Bake at 200 degrees C (395 F) for 1 hour or until firm. Don't let it get too dark on top.
Refrigerate for 2+ hours. Serve with Dulce de Leche.
