The All American Dessert

Great for the 4th of July!

Ingredients

• 4 c. boiling water
• 1 pkg 8 serving size or two of the smaller packages of any red flavor Jell-O
• 1 pkg. 8 serving size or two of the smaller packages of Blueberry or Berry Blue flavor Jell-O
• 2 c. cold water
• 1 8 oz. tub Cool Whip
• 4 c. Sara Lee pound cake
• 2 c. sliced strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

Stir 2 c. boiling water into each flavor of jello in separate bowls 2 min. or until completely dissolved.
Stir 1 c. cold water into each bowl.
Pour into separate 13x9 pans.
Refriedgerate at least 3 hours or until firm.
Cut into 1/2" cubes.
Layer jello cubes, whipped topping, cake and strawberries in 3-qt. serving bowl(trifle works)
Garnish with star shaped "Jigglers"(optional)
Refridgerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
