Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup dairy sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon

Step 1
Beat together butter and 2 cups of the sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add sour cream and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt add to batter and stir in gently.
Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar with nuts and cinnamon. In greased 9x9 inch baking pan, alternate layers of the 1/2 batter, 1/2 the sugar nut mixture.
Bake 350° oven for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
