Ingredients
- 1 cup of sugar
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 4 cups of milk (just under boiling)
- 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla

Step 1
1. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Keep aside.
2. Warm milk until boiling. Gradually add dry mixture.
3. Under medium heat, cook 6 minutes stirring.
4. Cook for 10 minutes covered.
5. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
6. When lukewarm, put in fridge.
7. Could be served with maple syrup, apple compote.
8. Gives 6-8 portions.
