  • 1 4 oz can diced green chilies
  • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese-grated
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese-grated
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • Salt & pepper
  • 12 slices of fresh bread or 6 English Muffins halved.

Step 1

Beat together 6 eggs, 2 ½ cups milk, salt & pepper. Butter glass dish and cover with English muffins - sprinkle layer of cheese over bread. Pour ½ egg mixture over cheese. Add the chilies in a thin layer. Continue making layers and top with cheese - wrap & refrigerate 12 - 24 hours. Bake next day 45-60 minutes at 325 degrees.
