Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1/2 c. - shortening
- 3 - eggs
- 3/4 c. - sugar
- 1 tsp. - vanilla
- 1/2 pint - sour cream
- 2 c. - flour
- 1 tsp. - baking powder
- 1 tsp. - baking soda
- Topping:
- 1 c. - brown sugar
- 5 Tbsp. soft butter
- 1 c. - chopped nuts
- 2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Cake:
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture.
Topping:
In a separate bowl, mix all ingredients well together.
Pour 1/2 of cake batter into well greased tube pan then add 1/2 of the topping mixture. Add the other 1/2 of the cake batter. Top with remaining topping mixture.
Bake at 350° for about 35-40 minutes.
