Ingredients

  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey or venison or any combination
  • 1/2 C. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 C. catsup
  • 1 egg
  • 3-4 C. hot mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Combine soup mix, water, ground beef, bread crumbs, catsup and egg and press into a 9 or 10 inch (sprayed with Pam) pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove and drain excess grease. Top with mashed potatoes and cheese. Return to oven and bake just until cheese melts.
