Ingredients

  • 2 yellow of eggs
  • 1 cup of mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup of filet of sole
  • 2 eggs beaten with 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 6 anchovy filets minced
  • 1 red onion sliced and diced
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix cooked fish and mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Add yellows of eggs and mix well.
3. Grated red onion and add to ingredients with salt and pepper.
4. Minced anchovy and add to mix. Cover with waxed paper and refrigerate for 1 hour.
5. Shape small pate, roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs with oil, and roll in breadcrumbs.
6. Melt oil and cook pate for 6-7 minutes on each side.
7. Serve with tartar sauce.
