7-Up Cake

Ingredients

• 2 sticks butter
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 3 cups sugar
• 5 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• 7 oz. 7-Up

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating between each addition. Stir in flour and 7-Up until well blended. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
