Ingredients
- 2 soup bones
- 1 lb stewing beef
- 6 cups water
- 2 cups V8 Juice
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1/2 pkg frozen peas,cor, lima beans or any leftover vegetable
- 1 coarsely chopped onion 1 Tbs. salt
- 2 tsp, worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp cilil powder
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1 cup chopped cabbage

Preparation
Step 1
Remove the meat from the bone. Cut all meat in bite size pieces. Brown in hot fat. Add bones, meat, water, V8, onion and seasonings. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Add vegetables, cover and simmer 1 more hour. Remove bones and bay leaf, check seasoning. For our family, I always add garlic salt and pepper to taste. You can just brown bones with meat on and cut it off when you add vegetables.
